Satpara Lake is one of the most important and beautiful natural lakes in Gilgit-Baltistan, located just 8 km south of Skardu city at an altitude of 2,636 metres. The lake stretches for about 3 km and is fed by the Satpara stream draining from higher glaciated peaks.
