Rush Lake at 4,694m is one of the highest alpine lakes in the world and Pakistan's most revered high-altitude trekking gem. Located high above the Spantik and Barpu glacier systems in the Nagar Valley, this adventurous trek offers incomparable 360-degree vistas of Golden Peak (Spantik 7,027m), Malubiting (7,458m), Diran (7,266m), Ultar Sar, and Rakaposhi (7,788m). From the lake, an optional morning scramble to Rush Peak (5,098m) rewards adventurers with one of the most magnificent summit panoramas anywhere on Earth.

Scenic drive from Karimabad to Hoper/Minapin trailhead. 4 hrs trek through alpine meadows (3,300m).
Trek along the lateral moraine with panoramic views of Golden Peak (Spantik). Overnight camp at 3,800m.
5–6 hrs steep mountain ascent across alpine scree and ridge trails to the turquoise waters of Rush Lake.
Early morning 2-hour scramble to Rush Peak summit for sunrise over K2, Broad Peak, Spantik, and Malubiting. Leisurely afternoon by the alpine lake.
Descent through Chidin Harai pastures to the Barpu Glacier base camp.
Final morning walk to roadhead; transfer to Karimabad for hot shower and celebratory Hunza banquet.
