Along the way, we’ll immerse ourselves in the unique culture of the Kalash people, who have fascinating ties to ancient Greece.

Our adventure unfolds as we follow the picturesque Mastuj River, traversing the Loweri Pass (3118m) and reaching the stunning Phander Lake, nestled high among the mountains, accessible via the iconic Shandur Pass (3721m). Here, we’ll witness the world’s highest polo festival, a dazzling spectacle of skill and tradition.

As we journey through the enchanting Punyal Valley and arrive in Gilgit, we’ll find ourselves surrounded by towering peaks. Our road leads to the legendary kingdom of Hunza, where history and majesty converge. We’ll continue to Skardu, the heart of Baltistan, and immerse ourselves in the awe-inspiring scenery.

Our adventure culminates at Rama Lake, nestled at the foot of Nanga Parbat (8126m), offering breathtaking vistas. On our return journey via the Karakoram Highway, we’ll explore ancient rock
engravings in Chilas and savor the beauty of Naran, a paradise waiting to be discovered.

Itinerary


Day 01: Arrival at Islamabad International Airport. Transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 02: Today, embark on a pleasant drive to Shogran, nestled in the picturesque Kaghan Valley at an elevation of 2400 meters.

Day 03: Continue your journey to Naran, the heart of Kaghan Valley, known for its exceptional hiking opportunities and fantastic fishing spots.

Day 04: Enjoy a leisurely day, perfect for fishing and a visit to the legendary Saiful Maluk Lake, situated at an impressive altitude of 3212 meters.

Day 05: Get ready for an exhilarating jeep ride, taking you to the breathtaking Babusar Pass at an impressive altitude of 4173 meters. Afterward, experience a steep descent of 50 kilometers, leading you to Chilas.

Day 06: Today’s adventure includes crossing the Karakoram Highway (KKH) and the mighty Indus River while passing through the awe-inspiring Astore gorge. You’ll eventually arrive at the beautiful Rama, situated at an elevation of 3480 meters.

Day 07: Continue your journey by descending further to Astor and then onwards to Chilum, located at the base of the Deosai Plateau.

Day 08: Brace yourself for an unforgettable drive through a treeless wilderness at an elevation of 4000 meters. You’ll wade through knee-deep summer grass, surrounded by stunning wildflowers, and encounter whistling marmots and grazing yaks. Later, descend through the narrow Satpara gorge to reach the enchanting Satpara Lake.

Day 09: Enjoy a day at your leisure, perfect for local visits or a leisurely stroll on the sand dunes of Skardu, along with exploring the local markets.

Day 10: Embark on a full-day excursion to Talish Village in Hushe Valley, offering a chance to witness the magnificent Masherbrum Peak.

Day 11: Today’s journey involves an adventurous 10-11 hour drive to Hunza via Gilgit, providing magnificent views of the mighty Indus River, which weaves its way through deep gorges, squeezed between the towering cliffs of the Haramosh and Rakaposhi ranges.

Day 12: Delve into the culture and heritage of the legendary Hunzakuts, known for their remarkable longevity. Explore Altit & Baltit Forts.

Day 13: Take an excursion to the historical Khunjerab Pass, standing tall at an altitude of 4733 meters. En route, make stops at the Gulkin Glacier, Passu Glacier, and Khunjerab National Park.

Day 14: Drive back to Gilgit, with a visit to Hopar Village to enjoy a walk on Hopar Glacier.

Day 15: Follow in the footsteps of Marco Polo, journeying to Punial Valley and onward to the mesmerizing Phandar Lake, renowned for its golden trout and heavenly scenery.

Day 16: Embrace a day of leisure, perfect for fishing, hiking, and strolling around the picturesque Phandar Village.

Day 17: Begin your day with an ascent to Shandur Pass at 3724 meters, home to the world’s highest polo field and offering stunning mountain panoramas. Continue your drive to Mastuj, once the capital of the “Bolor Kingdom.”

Day 18: Embark on a journey to Chitral, a central town that serves as the starting point for exploring the
surrounding valleys.

Day 19: Venture to Kafir-Kalash and explore three vibrant villages: Birir, Rumbur, and Bamburat.

Day 20: Conclude your adventure with a drive back to Islamabad. cultural heritage with visits to Faisal Mosque and Lok Versa Museum, then enjoy scenic views at Pir Sohawa in the Margalla Hills National Park.

Day 21: Bid farewell to Islamabad airport as you embark on your homeward journey, marking the end of your adventure
